Sustainable teak from Brazil

The King of Wood

Teak is the most durable hardwood in the world — dense, oily and all but immune to rot, insects and the weather. We grow ours on our own plantations in Mato Grosso, Brazil, where every tree is planted, tended and harvested under a management plan that answers to the forest first.

  • Certified FSC® teak wood
  • Scientific forest management
  • Quality, growth and sustainability

Why we do it

People, planet and prosperity

Three commitments hold the whole operation together. Drop any one of them and the other two stop making sense.

How we do it

From planting to cutting

Four steps, twenty-plus years, one standard. Nothing here is rushed.

  1. 01

    Land selection

We plant only on degraded pasture — never on cleared forest.

  2. 02

    Selection of seedlings

Clones chosen for straight growth and heartwood quality.

  3. 03

    Quality over quantity

Thinned and pruned by hand so every remaining tree earns its space.

  4. 04

    For people and the environment

Managed to a plan audited against FSC® standards, year after year.
